On 3 September 2026, BP BUMN (SOE Regulatory Agency) held a discussion session as part of the OECD Fact-Finding Mission on Corporate Governance. The session took place at 9:00 AM on the 8th Floor of the BUMN Building, Jakarta.
The discussion was attended by representatives from the OECD and BP BUMN, including the Director of Legislation. The session served as a platform to exchange views and insights on Indonesia’s SOE governance framework, including the role of BP BUMN in supporting effective corporate governance.
The discussion also highlighted the transformation of Indonesia’s SOE governance framework, particularly the separation between the regulatory function carried out by BP BUMN and the operational management function carried out by BPI Danantara. This framework is intended to strengthen governance, enhance accountability, and support the long-term role of SOEs in contributing to national economic and social development.
Through this Fact-Finding Mission, BP BUMN and the OECD continue to foster constructive dialogue and exchange perspectives on corporate governance practices. The discussion is expected to contribute valuable insights to ongoing efforts to strengthen Indonesia’s SOE governance framework and promote sustainable value creation.
